In 2025, I began working on two series concurrently that I am still creating works for: Building a Hope Chest for the Cruel Governess and Archetypes. The first is a series of mixed media paintings and fiber works that depict domestic spaces in a state of flux. Using the home as a symbol for the psyche, these works visualize what it feels like to re-engineer the mind in an attempt to heal from trauma. 

Archetypes is a series of assemblages and sculptures that investigate the recurring characters in my life. Each work is a portrait that uses the meaning of materials rather than realistic depictions to convey a type of person or a role that gets filled with different actors. Each of these roles is a part of a larger tapestry I’m trying to make sense of, so I can break from the scenes I’ve been doomed to act out over and over again.
